Ord.Prof.Dr.Cahit Arf Primary school

We are a primary school in Istanbul Tuzla.Our school is called Ord.Prof.Dr.Cahit Arf Primary school.We have about 600 students and 40 teachers.The ages of our students are between 5 and 11 and we give education to 3 pre-school classes, 1 otizmclass,and 1 class with students withspecial needs.The rest of our classes are classes of first graders up to fourth graders.
Our school has experience in international projects like Comenius and is still very interested in taking part in other experiences to widen the horizons of both our students' and also to develop our school vision by new exchanges between other partners abroad.
We,as the members of Cahit Arf Primary school give our best to make our students taking part in social activities where they can show their talents and interests such as writing, poetry , sports and art and these efforts are praised with some prizes they achieved.
Most of our students come from the Anatolian part of Turkey for economical or social reasons.As Tuzla is an industrisl zone, it gave home and working places to these families.But still it's not enough and Tuzla is going on developing in this aspect.Especially our region is famous for its ship yards and leather industry.New investments like the Tuzla Marina, will increse Tuzla's popularity and economy.
